What it does
Certificates and expiry
Gas, electrical, lift, extinguisher, PAT, insurance. Held against the building and the asset, with chasing that starts far enough ahead that somebody can actually book the engineer.
A certificate is filed against the premises and the specific asset, so "which boiler is this for" has an answer eighteen months later when the question is asked by somebody else.
Chasing runs on a lead time you set per certificate type. A twelve-month duty needs booking around month ten, and a reminder on the expiry date is a reminder that you have already failed.
Contractors upload through a no-login link with an expiry and a use limit. No account to create, no email attachment that never gets filed.
What it does not do
The boundary, stated plainly, because you will find it eventually and it is better to find it now.
- DutyHub does not verify a certificate is genuine or that the issuer was competent or registered. It records what was uploaded and by whom.
- Expiry comes from the date on the record. A certificate entered with the wrong date will be chased on the wrong date.
