Terms of service
What the contract between us covers.
These terms are with our solicitors and are not yet published. We would rather say that than put a plausible-looking contract on a website — a term you rely on has to be one somebody qualified has actually drafted, and this page is not a substitute for it. Ask us at to be confirmed for the current version before you sign up, and we will send it.
What they will cover
So you know what to expect, and what to look for when you read them:
- The service, what is included in each plan, and what changes when a plan changes.
- Fees, billing periods, and what happens on non-payment.
- Your data: that it remains yours, that we process it as your processor, and that you can export it and have it returned or deleted at the end.
- Availability, support, and what we do when something goes wrong.
- Acceptable use.
- Liability, and its limits — the part worth reading carefully in any software contract.
- Term, renewal and how either of us ends the contract.
- Governing law and jurisdiction.
One thing the terms will not do
They will not say that using DutyHub makes you compliant, and no term will imply it. DutyHub records, schedules, chases and evidences the things responsible people must do. Whether those things were done, and done adequately, remains yours.
